Most of the manufacturing processes of electronic circuits are fully automatic and performed by computer-monitored machines.
There are cases when certain processes cannot be performed with the existing machinery or when some processes need to be done in different conditions than the usual which leads to better accuracy.
In these cases, it is required to design supporting devices for the production.
This is an assembly as well as a welding device for small printed circuits. The device was designed for an optic transmitter/receiver which has several components needed to be welded to the circuit with great accuracy. The device enabled maximum access to the circuit since the welding took place in both its sides.
During the project we had to consider human engineering of the operator in order to make his job easier. Since the finished product had to be exceptionally accurate, the device was designed with the right accuracy and its components were manufactured in a highly accurate technology.
