A single-axis robotic system designed for placing an RF transmission antenna. It is a floor system that moves on rails. The system drives a cart containing computer equipment on the rails over a distance of several meters. The movement of the cart needs to be extremely accurate.
The system has unique features such as its size and its ability to mobilize relatively accurate components over a relatively long distance. The system is also extremely sensitive to radio wave interference. Therefore, there is a wide use of suitable insulating materials.
This is a multi-systemic project of design, assembly, integration and testing. It is required to meet tight deadlines while synchronizing development and production. The system finished the design stage successfully and was supplied to the client’s satisfaction.
